There will be fun, foam and fundraising when a spirited trio of Macks Solicitors staff take part in “It’s A Knockout!” in aid of Zoe’s Place baby hospice.
Amanda Donaghue, Helen Preston and Laura Waterfield have joined a team of ten who will roll back the clock when the madcap game show comes to Teesside on Saturday May 21.
The event will be held at the TIBS sports ground in Ingleby Barwick using some of the original props from the BBC TV programme which began in 1966 and continued in various formats until 1988.
They include the famous inflatable character costumes worn by hapless contestants. Family and friends are welcome to come along to support the teams, who have been warned they will get wet!
Each team must raise at least £100, which will help provide care for special babies and children at the Eston hospice.
Laura Waterfield said: “When Amanda said she was organising a team for It’s A Knockout I was more than happy to be involved. We are all really looking forward to taking part and are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Zoe’s Place so they can continue their amazing work in Teesside.”
