I graduated from Manchester University in 1991 and completed my legal training with a local Redcar firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 1994.
I joined the Wills and Probate department of Macks Solicitors in 2005.
I have more than 25 years of experience in the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and the Administration of Estates. I have a particular interest in Court of Protection matters and act as a professional Deputy for a number of clients who have received substantial compensation awards. I also advise clients with regard to Personal Injury Trusts whereby any compensation awarded as a result of a personal injury is placed in trust.
In addition, I hold bi-monthly legal clinics at Carers Together which is a local charity based in Redcar and Middlesbrough offering advice and support to people who are caring for others.
I am a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) which is a well recognised national organisation.
