Lakota Teyen
In July 2023, I graduated from Northumbria University with a First Class Master in Law (Exempting) degree which incorporated the Legal Practice Course. During my time at university, I was named on the Honour Roll and Contribution Roll for outstanding academic performance and my contributions to the Law School.
Prior to commencing my training contract, I worked in Conveyancing for a local firm. During the first six months of my training contract, I joined the Family (Legal Aid) team where I represented clients in Public Law Outline meetings and Court. I primarily assisted in Private Family and Children proceedings.
I have since joined the Personal Injury team here at Macks, where I assist and provide legal advice to people injured in accidents and victims of medical negligence.
I am set to qualify as a Solicitor in 2025.
