I have over 20 years’ experience in handling personal injury claims with a specific interest in cases of mesothelioma and asbestos-related lung cancer.  My interest stems from growing up on Teesside and seeing people in my local community (including friends and family) being diagnosed with lung cancer, asbestosis and mesothelioma.

In 1998 I set up a team within Macks Solicitors to help people affected by industrial diseases. I ensure that we spend time with each client and their family, visiting them at home or even in the hospital, if necessary, discussing when and where they were exposed to asbestos and the legal process involved in claiming compensation.

The majority of my clients are males who have worked as laggers, electricians, fitters and joiners at ICI, British Steel, local shipyards and building companies.

Over the past 20 years, myself and the team at Macks have helped hundreds of men and women across Teesside and the North East recover millions of pounds in compensation after they were exposed to asbestos.
